Dec. 1971 | Founded preparatory committee to establish an interior company in Mitsubishi Estate Company Sounded out investment in a new company to a Japanese American who lived in Hawaii and was passionate about crossing a bridge between Japan and the US since Hawaii was the center of strong Interior skills of the world in those days and agreed upon the investment. At that time he demanded to name the company after Mitsubishi Estate Company and English words and then chosen MEC Design International |
